Today: your connected provider
Virillio Code’s initial release is free to use under the app license. AI model access is separate. When you connect your own provider account or API key, that provider handles the request and bills usage under its terms.
For example, if you connect a provider key and select one of its paid models, check the provider’s dashboard for balance, spending limits, invoices, and payment settings.

A chat subscription may be different
A consumer chat subscription does not necessarily include API access. Use the connection method the provider supports and check its account terms. Do not assume signing in or entering a key gives you unlimited usage.
Check usage before a large task
Start with a small request and inspect the selected provider and model. Set spending controls at the provider where available. Larger context, longer output, retries, and additional agent work can all increase usage.
The amounts shown in an app usage view may be estimates. For actual charges, use the billing records issued by the provider. See understanding usage.
